Reserveage Beauty Très Beauty 3
Our hair, skin, and nails not only have an esthetic value and impact our self confidence, but are also important in their own right. For example, skin is the largest organ in our body and is crucial for our immunity, acting as a physical barrier between our body and harmful external factors. Therefore, it is crucial that when choosing a hair, skin, and nails supplement, you find one that not only improves the appearance of but also the health of your hair, skin, and nails. There are several ingredients that we look for to help achieve this, and they are Collagen, B Vitamins (primarily Biotin and Folate), Vitamin C, and Iron, among others.
Reserveage Beauty Très Beauty 3 claims to promote strength and luster of hair and nails as well as a more youthful appearance. To achieve this, the manufacturer makes use of three main ingredients: a Collagen blend containing Collagen and Hyaluronic Acid; Cynatine® HNS, a patented Keratin; and Dermaval™, a blend to promote the production of Elastin. We looked into these promising ingredients to see if this is indeed an effective hair, skin and nail supplement.
Is Reserveage Beauty Très Beauty 3 Effective?
We are big believers in the benefits of taking Collagen, so we were impressed by the large daily dose of Collagen provided in this supplement. Another plus was the inclusion of Hyaluronic Acid in the Collagen complex. Not all supplements include this, and it is great for skin hydration and works well with Collagen to promote a youthful appearance. However, the downside to this complex is that the Collagen is of bovine source and not marine, which means it is of a lower quality and doesn’t absorb as well in the body. Additionally, the Hyaluronic Acid is not in the form of Sodium Hyaluronate, which has a lower molecular weight and can penetrate the skin deeper. This may somewhat reduce the efficacy of these beneficial ingredients.
The second key ingredient in the formula is Cynatine® HNS, a solubilized Keratin from sheep’s wool. Keratin is the main structural protein found in hair; however, there isn’t enough convincing evidence that taking Keratin in supplement form benefits hair growth. That is why we look for Biotin (Vitamin B7), which stimulates Keratin production in hair. There is 300 mcg of Biotin in this formula, which is good, but we suggest 1000 mcg for optimal benefits.
The third key ingredient is Dermaval™️, which is a natural blend of fruit and vegetable antioxidants for helping retain skin elasticity. We were less impressed by this blend, because it contains a lot of ingredients that have not been proven to benefit elastin production. Additionally, the blend is listed without specified amounts for each ingredient, which also makes us doubt its efficacy.
The remaining ingredients are Zinc, Copper, Niacin (Vitamin B3), Vitamin B6, and Pantothenic Acid (Vitamin B5). We were pleased at the addition of these vitamins and minerals, which many products neglect to include. We were slightly surprised that Folate and Iron were not included, since these are critical for healthy hair, skin, and nails. Another surprising omission is Vitamin C, which is a powerful antioxidant and helps protect the skin.
To find out if a product is effective, it’s always helpful to look at reviews or customer testimonials. It seems that reviews were generally positive, with only a few reporting that it didn’t work for them.
All in all, we believe that this product should be effective. It has the correct dosage of Collagen and Hyaluronic Acid and also provides additional vitamins and minerals. However, the bovine collagen source as well as the form of Hyaluronic Acid used may reduce the effectiveness, and the potency of some of the ingredients is uncertain because they are lumped together in a proprietary blend without information about their quantities. Finally, we think that Iron and Vitamin C would improve the formula by adding protection for the skin and strengthening hair and nails.
Is Reserveage Beauty Très Beauty 3 Safe?
Reserveage Beauty Très Beauty 3 has no reported side effects and should be safe if taken according to proper recommendations. However, we always recommend speaking to your doctor before taking any new supplement, especially if you are pregnant, breastfeeding, have a pre-existing medical condition, or take medications on a regular basis.
Summary
We believe Reserveage Beauty Très Beauty 3 is an effective hair, skin and nail supplement. While it does contain a good list of active ingredients, it didn’t meet all of the requirements on our list. This ranked lower than our top pick for a few reasons. For starters, unlike our top pick, this product contains bovine Collagen and not marine, and the Hyaluronic Acid is not in Sodium Hyaluronate form. Secondly, this product contained less Biotin than our #1 choice, and didn’t include key ingredients such as Iron and Vitamin C. Lastly, this product uses a proprietary blend. Since we value transparency, proprietary blends are always a con on our list. We like to know exactly what we’re putting in our bodies and how much, and we hope you’ll be just as careful.
